Columbia Indian Economy Summit 2026: The Quest for a Developed India

This spring, the Raj Center is hosting its annual Columbia Indian Economy Summit, centered around India's goal of transforming into a developed country by 2047, the 100th anniversary of the its independence.

The conference will bring together leading policymakers, scholars, and industry experts to examine the economic reforms, state-level dynamics, technological transformations, and global challenges that will shape India’s path to high-income status.

This event will be hosted in-person at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, on the 15th floor of the International Affairs Building (420 West 118th Street, New York, NY, 10027).

Breakfast and lunch will be served. Reception to follow. Seating is limited and advanced registration is strictly required due to increased security measures.
