Designed for beginners, this course will help you build a strong foundation in painting while developing confidence in working with colour, light and form. Each session combines practical exercises with guided instruction in a supportive, small-group studio environment.

Working from still-life set-ups, you will explore how colour and tone interact to create depth, atmosphere and balance in your work.

• tonal values and tonal charts
• colour mixing (primary and secondary colours)
