COLOSSUS is a curated festival at the intersection of avant-garde practice and contemporary live music.
Its programme brings together artists working across progressive rock, symphonic and operatic metal, contemporary metal incorporating Chinese traditional instruments, and experimental electronic performance. Though distinct in form, these practices are united by a commitment to artistic inquiry, innovation, and the continual reimagining of musical language.
Rather than presenting genres as fixed identities, COLOSSUS foregrounds dialogue—between tradition and experimentation, composition and improvisation, acoustic practice and emerging technology, local narratives and global perspectives.
