COLORS J'OUVERT

Our Caribbean festival called “COLORS JOUVERT”. This event is a cultural tradition also known as “break day” or the unofficial start of Carnival, which normally takes place on the Monday before “Ash Wednesday”. It is celebrated by many Caribbean residents here within Greensboro and all over the world. This celebration brings awareness to the wonderful culture and includes cultural music, performances, Caribbean food, water activities, country flags and colorful outfits. The type of music that would be played at the event will be Caribbean music: Soca, Kompa ,Latin, Reggae, Calypso
