Bring the past to life while learning the fun medium of colored pencils! Each session will focus on one kind of dinosaur, reptile, or other extinct animal. Along with focusing on one dinosaur per session, students will have modern-day animals to use as inspiration for your ancient animal's color. This is a great starting point for students wanting to create their own fantastical, mythical creatures!
Students will learn techniques for blending, layering colors, and learning what different colors do when mixed together. While we're working on our colored pencils techniques, we'll discuss fun facts about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals.
This class is ideal for youth and adults ages 10 and up. All materials are provided. Optionally, you may bring your own sketchbook.
Radio (he/him) is a current college student who has always been interested in dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. It started from an early age thanks to popular media. Radio loves science and learning new things about the time before ours, but he also loves drawing from modern day animals, particularly birds.
