September 7–13, 2025Join us for an unforgettable week of riding through Colorado’s iconic San Juan Mountains — home to legendary alpine passes like Imogene, Black Bear, Engineer, California, Corkscrew, Cinnamon, and more. These trails are bucket-list material for adventure riders — and the best part? They're accessible to both big ADV bikes and smaller dual sports with limited fuel range.
Most passes can be ridden in a single day from adventure hubs like Ouray, Telluride, Silverton, Lake City, and along the scenic Million Dollar Highway.
We’ll be riding during the week to steer clear of weekend crowds. You're free to come and go as your schedule allows — make it your own adventure.

A Few Key Notes:
Fuel: No issues last time. Plan your days, but no need to stress about range.
Weather: Expect variety. It was 75–80°F at camp, but we hit hail and cold up high. Bring solid rain gear and cold-weather layers every day.
Navigation: You don’t need to be a GPS wizard, but you will need some form of navigation. Most passes are well-marked.
Group Rides: This is a self-guided adventure, but I’ll lead at least one group ride during the week. Feel free to organize your own groups — the more the merrier, and there's safety in numbers.
Where to Stay: Some of us are camping at the Ouray KOA, but it’s your trip — stay wherever works best for you.
Final Advice:
Prep your bike. Make sure it’s dialed in and trail-ready.
Right tires matter. Don’t show up on worn-out 80/20s.
Know your limits. Be honest about your riding skills and your bike’s capabilities. Be prepared to handle your own mechanical issues — flats, breakdowns, etc.
Bike choice. These are Jeep trails and big-bike-friendly on paper, but a lighter, more nimble dual sport makes a big difference on the technical stuff.
Let’s ride some of the most epic terrain the Rockies have to offer. Hope to see you there!
