Colorado Farmers Market Association Annual Conference 2025

Welcome, our Colorado farmers market community! It is that time of year to register for our Annual CFMA Conference 2025! The conference will be held in Trinidad at the Commons at Space to Create, a dynamic community gathering space in the heart of downtown Trinidad.

Trinidad is a hidden gem of Southeastern Colorado at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. With a rich history, a vibrant arts scene, and an easily walkable downtown, we're so glad to have our conference in Trinidad this year!

Sessions will begin the morning of Friday, March 7th and go through mid-day (before lunch) on Sunday, March 9th. It will be two and a half days filled with informative sessions, farm tours, local eats and drinks and the opportunity to connect in person with our farmers market community!

Additional Information:

• The CFMA Conference will be in-person only this year. And, if you can't make it to the Conference we hope to be able to record most sessions - stay tuned for confirmation on that and details on purchasing recording access.

• Ticket Pricing:

We will be using the same tiered pricing system for our conference that we launched last year, to make the conference as accessible as possible while still covering the costs of hosting the conference. Tiered pricing works if everyone can assess honestly which tier is most appropriate for them. For this to work, we need as many people to purchase tickets in Tier 3 as in Tier 1 – this way it will balance out, and CFMA can cover our costs for hosting the conference. Note that CFMA members receive a 20% discount on tickets in all tiers, and EARLY BIRD tickets cost less than regular tickets, in all tiers.

Tier 1 – This tier is for farmers, or small markets with a very small budget (most markets should purchase tickets in Tier 2 or 3).

Tier 2 – This tier is intended for small to medium sized markets with a limited budget.

Tier 3 - This tier is for markets run by governmental entities with a training budget or established non-profits; as well as partner organizations.

Note that CFMA members receive a 20% discount on tickets in all tiers, and EARLY BIRD tickets cost less than regular tickets in all tiers. New and renewing CFMA members, make sure to use the promo code for conference tickets that will be in your 2025 membership confirmation e-mail. We cannot discount tickets for members after they are purchsed - you must use the promo code provided when you purchase tickets!

• Scholarships: We want the conference to be available for everyone to attend. This year conference tickets are on a sliding scale - please read the descriptions carefully and select the tier that is appropriate for you and your organization. In addition, limited scholarships are available if cost would be a barrier to attending.

• Travel: If you are looking for an alternative way to travel to the conference this year there is a Greyhound bus that goes daily south on I-25 to Trinidad, and someone could easily pick you up at the bus stop.

We have two hotel blocks with special rates reserved for conference attendees:

La Quinta Inn and Suites Trinidad, 2833 Toupal Dr, Trinidad, CO 81082 (exit 11 off of I-25, (10 minute drive to conference location)

**Farm tour addresses and directions will be provided closer to the conference to conference attendees.

*There will be no online conference access, with the possible exception of the Annual Business Meeting - members please let us know if you would attend just the Business Meeting online.
