Colorado Diasporic Film Festival Weekend Pass

Join us for three inspiring days of film, culture, music, food, conversation, and community at the Colorado Diasporic Film Festival.

Our festival celebrates the vibrant tapestry of cultures that call Colorado home while showcasing powerful cinematic stories from around the world. Inspired by the ancient Greek word "diaspora," meaning "to scatter about," the festival explores themes of migration, identity, resilience, belonging, and our shared humanity through the art of storytelling.

Presented by the Askkanwii Filmmaking Hub Incubator, a Colorado nonprofit organization, the festival brings together filmmakers, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, youth, and community leaders to foster cross-cultural understanding, creativity, and meaningful connections.

Throughout the weekend, audiences will experience:

- Feature films, documentaries, and short films from around the world

- Filmmaker Q&A sessions

- Interactive workshops and panel discussions

- Cultural cuisine & Taste of the diaspora

- Networking opportunities

- Family-friendly programming, including a special Kids & Youth Film Section

- The immersive Diasporic FilmHub Village, featuring cultural, film, business, art, technology, and community gathering spaces

A unique highlight of the festival this year is our collaboration with local Diasporic filmmakers, Askkanwii Filmmaking Hubs across Africa, and global content creators participation. Together, we are helping amplify diverse voices while strengthening global creative partnership.
