Color Play! Multi-Block Color Linocut Printing (3-week series)

This is a three-part class series is held on three consecutive Sundays, offering a total of nine total workshop hours.

This class is all about layering color to create movement and vibration on the page. Over three sessions, students will develop a three-layered print, exploring how printed layers behave differently based on ink color, sequence of printing, and paper color.

Opacity and transparency will also be introduced as factors that impact color interactions. This workshop is a playful discovery of materials, helping students builds confidence with color and technique, and bringing complexity to their prints.

This is a perfect class for students with some prior printmaking experience, but can be adapted to any experience level.
