Join us for Color & Texture Studio at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center.

This free community event invites young children and their families into a gentle morning of open-ended art exploration. Children will explore color, texture, paper, fabric, natural materials, and simple collage supplies as they create their own process-based artwork.

This event is designed for preschool-aged children who love to touch, sort, arrange, glue, layer, and create. The focus is on the experience, not a perfect final product. Families will get a warm glimpse into how creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional skill building are part of the Little Nestlings environment.

Featured child activity:

Create a color and texture collage.

Children will choose from simple materials such as textured paper, fabric scraps, yarn, tissue paper, natural materials, and drawing supplies to create an open-ended collage. They can follow their own ideas, make choices, and enjoy the process of creating.

Children may practice:

Creative expression; fine motor skills; decision-making; sensory exploration; confidence; language around color, texture, shape, and feeling
