Step back in time and experience 18th-century life at the Historic Oliver Estate in Middleborough on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 12:00–4:00 PM. This free, family-friendly Colonial Re-Enactment invites visitors to explore a day of history and heritage with musket demonstrations, spinning and weaving, colonial cooking, farm animals, and children’s games. Guests can also tour the historic Oliver Estate, stroll through seven acres of colonial gardens, and enjoy food and beverages on-site.Free Parking will be available at Oliver Mill Park, Nemasket Street and Route 44, with a convenient shuttle to the estate. Please note that no parking is available directly at the Oliver Estate.
Built in the 1700s by Judge Peter Oliver, the estate holds deep ties to the American Revolution and serves as the perfect backdrop for this immersive living history event.
