The Colonial K9 Classic event, presented by Muddy Marley's Dog Wash combines the thrill of Dock dog diving competition, a wine and beer garden to sit and relax while you watch the excitement and enjoy delicious food. Located at The Williamsburg Winery, soak in the outdoor activities and fresh air while surrounded by their beautiful property.

Dock Dog Diving: Extreme Vertical (Day 1)
Host: Chesapeake Dock Dogs
Info: Extreme Vertical (EV) is the "high jump" for dogs. The bumper hangs 8 feet away from the dock platform. The dog handler picks the starting height and the dog runs, jumps and grabs (or knocks down) the bumper. After each successful jump, the height is increased two inches until the dog has two misses. The score for EV is their highest successful grab.

Speed Retrieve Competition (Day 2)

Info: Speed Retrieve is a timed, drag-racing event where dogs sprint from a 20 foot mark on the dock platform , jump in and swim to grab a bumper suspended at the far end of the pool. the fastest time from release to grabbing the toy wins; testing speed, swim power and focus.
