Formed in the year 2000, Collective Unconscious has become one of Minnesota's premiere groups. Singer/songwriters Jeff Engholm, Nathan "Nature" Nesje, and Muggsy Lauer make up the core of the group with their vocal harmonies and are joined by composer / keyboardist George Maurer and drummer Scott Chabot. Jeff released a new solo album in May of 2021, Little Big Things, which has become a part of the Collective set! The band has also performed classic albums including The Beatles’ "Abbey Road,” The Beach Boys’ "Pet Sounds,” Simon & Garfunkel’s "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and The Band "The Last Waltz”. The Collective also teamed up with The Fabulous Armadillos in 2010 performing "Takin' It To The Limit: A Tribute To Eagles.
