Collective Healing: A Transformative Daylong Workshop for BIPOC

 Fostering Authenticity, Empowerment, Creativity, Consciousness, Liberation

You want to free yourself from old, dense patterns so that you can be more fully present and living in your potential.

You believe that personal transformation contributes to our collective health and liberation.

You identify as BIPOC and welcome the opportunity to work through your challenges and share your gifts in a BIPOC space.

You want to move through and let go of dense emotions that you are feeling, such as rage, despair, or fear, making space instead for creativity and connection.

The Practice

We will participate in whole group discussion and milling, igniting our consciousness by acting out a myth and then locating ourselves within it. After deeper discussion, we will break into small groups, with structured time for each participant to receive support and feedback as they work through whatever is arising for them. This may involve the expression of strong emotions or quiet analysis, role plays or physical movement.

Midday, we will eat an organic, vegetarian, gluten free lunch that will probably include some traditional Konkani dishes. We will have reflective time for visual art and journaling.

Later in the day, we will focus on healing, restoration, and next steps. This will include a group energy healing session. The group’s unified healing intention will amplify the benefits for all of us.

About Us

We are two teachers and energy healers who have been engaging in and assisting others with transformative practices for many years. We are excited to offer space for BIPOC to do this work because we’ve experienced this need ourselves. As facilitators, we will create a safe, solid container for shifting what has been holding you back, releasing densities, and discovering new possibilities. 

Shilpa draws upon a number of modalities that she has practiced for over two decades, including yoga and meditation, interactive visualizations, Reiki and  other forms of energy healing, oral traditions, creative expression/writing, ritual, and nature connection. She has an MFA in creative writing, is a Reiki Master/Teacher, has yoga teaching credentials, and has taught and assisted with numerous transformative workshops. Her website.

Sheera is an energy healer, a divine spirit guide communicator, a trauma-informed spiritual counselor, a lightseed cultivator, and a practitioner accelerator for fellow healers. They channel messages and healing from Divine Guides such as Ascended Guides, Bodhisattvas, Angelic Beings, Deities, and Star Beings. Logistics

Food: A vegetarian meal and light snacks will be provided! Please let us know if you have food allergies or special diets, and feel free to bring your own nourishment.

Parking: There is free street parking available.

Transit: We will be a 6 minute drive from a BART station. We could help with coordinating transportation from BART.

Accessibility: There is a small step to enter the workshop space and small step to enter the bathroom area.
