Eden Prairie Players' 2026 Collection of One Acts
Eden Prairie Players is excited to return to Riley Jacques Barn for the 2026 Collection of One Acts! We are presenting seven short published and unpublished plays to provide a great evening or afternoon of entertainment! Each play is presented at all seven performances. Plays may contain mature subjects and language. Recommended for audiences 13 and older.
Performances:
Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19, 7:00 pm
Sunday, September 20, 2:00 pm
Thursday* through Saturday, September 24-26, 7:00 pm
Sunday, September 27, 2:00 pm
*The Thursday, September 24 performance is pay-what-you-can for regular seats at the door, and is an ASL interpreted performance.

A Case Of Anxiety
by Mark Harvey Levine, directed by Nick Suchomel
Robert keeps dying, over and over again. An Agatha Christie-like Inspector tries to solve the case, but only his wife Marissa can truly save him.

Two young brothers discover that it takes courage to jump off the roof (literally and figuratively).
Dances With Wives
by Guy R. Newsham, directed by John Haynes
Claire and Jordie are divorced, and watch on as their newly-married daughter takes her first dance with her husband. Claire and Jordie seem prickly at first, and take shots at each other's new partners. But as they recall their prior courtship, and the DJ plays "their song", perhaps there's reconciliation.
Toward the Unknown Region

Four strangers in a waiting room disagree about what’s going to happen next. One by one, they are called into the next room, where the ultimate answer awaits.
Such Dreams as Stuff is Made On

An upscale couple are surprised to find their house was broken into; they are more surprised to find that nothing was stolen; and they are most surprised when the burglars return with a message.
Justice Served
by Ed Friedman, directed by Andrew Nawrocki
A lawyer in the city’s District Attorney’s office is about to prosecute a case of gay-bashing. He encounters unexpected interference as well as a complication in the case.
Christmastown

Every day is Christmas in Christmastown! When Allie wakes up in this strange Hallmark movie of a town, she must decide whether to stay with strangely perfect movie boyfriend Lance, or return to her real life in Kansas City. Nothing a little hot chocolate can't cure, right?
