Overview:
Join us for an acute oncology symposium, packed with interactive learning in recognising and managing oncological emergencies and treatment-related complications. The programme features a keynote address, focused lectures and workshops including acute oncology simulations, radiology and psycho‑oncology sessions, patient‑expert contributions, and communication training from The Maguire communication and leadership academy. You will take part in an immersive MDT with oncologists, radiologists, and surgeons. This event will have valuable networking opportunities to build confidence in acute oncology.

Intended audience:
The event is open to medical, nursing, Ph*rm*cy and radiography students, resident doctors, junior oncology fellows (JOF) and early-career nurses, doctors, radiographers and allied health professionals

Venue Information
The Christie Education Centre is located on the 2nd floor in Dept 17 of the main hospital and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Toilets are also on this floor including an accessible toilet. The auditorium has a hearing loop available and ramp access. A prayer room is available and close by. We want everyone attending our event in person to have the best possible experience.
