Coleman Park Juneteenth - Black Joy Celebration
This is more than an event… It’s a celebration of freedom, culture
About this Event
ABOUT THE EVENT
This isn’t just a festival—it’s culture, history, healing, and joy in one space.
The Coleman Park Juneteenth Black Joy Celebration is a community-centered experience honoring freedom, unity, and the rich legacy of Black culture through education, creativity, wellness, and togetherness.
Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, when enslaved African Americans were finally informed of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This moment reminds us of resilience, delayed justice, and the power of community.
Rooted in the Coleman Park community of West Palm Beach, this event uplifts local voices, supports Black-owned businesses, and creates a space where families can gather, learn, and celebrate together.
