About this Event

Cold River Radio Show with Eliot Lewis / The Clements Brothers / Keri DeArmon / Ramona Rowe/ and more. Hosted by Jonathan Sarty and the Cold River Radio Band

Join us live at the Majestic Theatre in Conway, NH as we welcome national touring and recording artist Eliot Lewis and other very special guests.

ELIOT LEWIS - A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Eliot Lewis has toured the world over as a member of the Daryl Hall & John Oates band, as well as a former member of The Average White Band. Eliot has also been the only musician to appear on every episode of Daryl Hall’s popular, "Live From Daryl's House” show all while keeping his own solo career going at a seemingly impossible pace. For more info visit Eliot Lewis

THE CLEMENTS BROTHERS - George and Charles Clements, identical twins from New England. They’ve been playing and writing music together for as long as they can remember and ‘The Clements Brothers’ marks their first project together since playing in the internationally touring grass-roots band, ‘The Lonely Heartstring Band’ with whom they put out two albums on Rounder Records. With roots, rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical influences, George (on guitar) and Charles (on bass) aim to capture their singer-songwriter sensibilities in a unique blended voice, at once enthralling and intimate, groovy and serene. Their first album 'Dandelion Breeze' was released in 2023 on Plow Man Records and their sophomore record is set to be released in the Fall of 2026. The duo is a fusion of each brother's unique musical journey, and the result is music all its own, filled with vocal harmonies, instrumental virtuosity, and a genuine love of song.

LOCAL SPOTLIGHT - Keri DeArmon - A New Hampshire native, Keri balances her life as a community nurse by day and a passionate musician by night. Her evenings are often filled with open mic performances, where she showcases her talents on guitar and vocals. Beyond her musical pursuits, Keri is deeply involved in community engagement and social causes. Drawing from her theater background, Keri now takes center stage with her new band, Silk Purse, dedicated to celebrating the iconic music of Linda Ronstadt.

FEATURED AUTHOR (celebrated award winning Maine Teen Author) Ramona Rowe-

Portland High School senior Ramona Rowe is already a published novelist.

Rowe’s debut novel, Factory Town, was recently published through The Telling Room’s Young Emerging Authors program, a rigorous 15-month writing and publishing experience for Maine students. Her science-fiction story is set in Worcester, Massachusetts—where her family has roots—and follows Jordie, an android whose routine of stealing from the human world for an underground factory is upended by a rogue android with a dangerous new vision for the future. The novel, described as humorous, honest, and filled with clever references, offers a playful yet thoughtful look at humanity through the eyes of its android characters.

Rowe in part credits the district’s Remote Academy creative writing club for nurturing her early interest and providing a supportive community.

Rowe’s involvement with The Telling Room, a Portland-based literary arts education organization, has been especially impactful.

“The Telling Room’s programs over the past couple of years have given me a chance to get feedback and advice from teachers and peers, as well as being really fun and helpful for inspiration,” Rowe said.

Rowe was one of only four students selected statewide for the 2024-2025 Young Emerging Authors cohort.

Beyond the publication of Factory Town, Rowe continues to create. She is already working on another science-fiction novel—this one, about parallel dimensions—and one of her short stories will appear in an upcoming The Telling Room climate anthology.
