On the morning of February 11, 1987, fifteen-year-old Timothy Masters saw what he thought was a mannequin while

walking to school at daybreak. Masters had discovered the body of 37-year-old Peggy Hettrick, brutally murdered in a field in southern Fort Collins.This unsolved homicide has received national attention and a variety of viable suspects have been publicly named. Kevin Vaughan and Jonny Grusing will discuss how their separate investigations intersected in an unlikely way. They will provide attendees with the opportunity to examine the evidence pointing to and from the suspects and weigh in on who might be responsible for the heinous crime. Behavioral and investigative tools will be provided to assist those interested in true-crime to examine not only this fascinating case but others like it.
