The Colby Wind Ensemble’s spring concert presents new compositions, including Dirigo Suite, by Heather Hastings. Dedicated to the state of Maine, Dirigo Suite is a three-movement work based on folk songs connected to Maine. Overture to the Great Hall by Shaun Salem opens the concert in grand fashion. The Colby Wind Ensemble is directed by Brendon Wilkins.
