Building a Co-operative Housing Future in Wales
Join UK Cohousing Network, Cwmpas and Charles Durrett for an evening exploring how cohousing, co-operation and community-led housing can contribute to a stronger and more resilient housing future for Wales.
Hosted in partnership with Cwmpas, Wales' national development agency for co-operatives and social enterprises, the event will explore the growing role of community-led approaches in creating affordable, connected and sustainable neighbourhoods.
Drawing on more than four decades of experience, Charles will share insights from hundreds of cohousing communities around the world and explore what it will take to create the next generation of successful cohousing communities across the UK. He will be joined by Welsh speakers and practitioners to discuss the opportunities, challenges and future of cohousing and community-led housing across Wales.
There is opportunity for audience questions before we wrap the formalities and move to networking, refreshments and book-signings.
