Cohabitat Wakefield Fundraising Mini-Fest
About this Event
Join us for an evening of music, art, games, and community in support of Cohabitat Wakefield.
Cohabitat is working to create sustainable, cooperative, affordable housing in Wakefield at a time when rising housing costs are making it harder and harder for local people to live and work here. We already have a municipal commitment for land behind Klimat and a 25-year tax exemption. The funds raised will help pay for the studies and surveys needed to unlock government seed funding and move the project forward.
What's Happening
- Live music from Intangerines, The Games Gang, and Second Sight.
- Kissing booth with Pickle
- Live painting by Robert Cordy, auctioned off at the end of the night
- Raffle featuring prizes donated by local businesses
- Cohabitat swag you'll actually want to wear
- Games, dancing, good people, and a great summer evening!
Admission
Sliding scale admission: $20–$50 at the door
Tax receipts are available for monetary donations.
Want to Help? Can't make it? Donations are always welcome.
Come out, have fun, and help build a future where Wakefield remains a place for the people who live and work here!
