Our December gathering will be hosted at Cultura Latina Dance Academy

Cultura Latina Dance Academy (CLDA): is a nonprofit dance school founded in 2011 by artistic director Yaya Rodríguez, located at 25 Exchange Street in Lynn, Massachusetts, serving as both a premier dance education center and cultural hub for the community. The academy offers comprehensive Latin dance instruction in over 12 styles including salsa, merengue, bachata, folkloric dances, as well as ballet, hip hop, acrobatics, and belly dance for students from age 2 through adult. More than just a dance academy, CLDA empowers youth and families through cultural pride and community engagement, teaching important life skills such as leadership, self-esteem, discipline, and teamwork while celebrating Latin American heritage. The academy recently celebrated a grand re-opening in August 2024 with newly renovated spaces, and continues to provide social and emotional support through dance while serving as a cornerstone of cultural preservation and community connection in Lynn.
