About this Event
Recycling: Are You Doing It Correctly?
Join us for an informative and engaging event on recycling! Cornell Cooperative Extension's Nature Resources Educator, Toni Gardner, will help you discover the ins and outs of proper recycling practices and learn how you can make a positive impact on the environment. We'll cover topics such as sorting, reducing contamination, and recycling do's and don'ts. This in-person event will be held at 111 North Main Street, Elmira, NY, in Suite 8 (Chemung River Friends). Don't miss out on this opportunity to become a recycling pro and help create a sustainable future!
Doors open at 8:30AM and the talk begins promptly at 9:00AM. Drinks and light snacks will be available at no cost. This event is free, though a suggested donation is $10. This event is sponsored by Chemung River Friends and funded with grants from the Anderson Foundation, the Hilliard Foundation, and Casella.
