Join us for a meaningful conversation with CASA of Western Maryland, a local nonprofit dedicated to standing up for children in foster care across Allegany and Washington Counties.
CASA recruits, trains, and empowers volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused and neglected children. CASA volunteers take the time to truly know the child they serve—building trust, collaborating with caseworkers, families, and educators, and gathering the full picture of a child’s life. With this insight, they provide fact-based, unbiased recommendations to the court—always centered on the child’s best interests.
Through this work, CASA advocates help ensure that every child has the chance at a safe, stable, and permanent home.
