Coffee Cauldron Latte Art Workshop MARCH

This event is an amazing opportunity for anyone who has ever been curious about how baristas create wonderful art on your delicious coffees. Whether you have never poured before, or want to improve your milk texture, this is your time.

Our lovely Barista Ollie, has had training with the Speciality Coffee Association, aswell as having 8 years of industry experience. They are chatty and bubbly, and will take you on a super fun evening of learning to steam milk, and pouring a heart, rosetta and a tulip!

The workshop will be 2 hours long, starting at 6pm, and ending at 8pm, the ticket includes sweet treats throughout the evening (Vegan and Gluten Free treats available too!) , as well as a stamp card for a free drink for next time you swing by the Cauldron.

Due to the nature of the workshop and the limited space and machine, there will only be space for 4 people at a time. However, this enables you to get lots of hands on experience and one on one tutoring, as we have two steam wands and many jugs to practice with!

The session will consist of: (timings are approximate)

• 10-15 minutes of introductions where Ollie will introduce himself and get to know everyone, and allow everyone to get to know eachother.
• 20-30 minutes of demonstrations from Ollie on milk steaming technique, good practice, pouring technique, presentation and how to fix small mistakes.
• Hands on steaming practice as a group, guided by Ollie and including 1-1 coaching.
• 15 minutes Intermission for sweet treats and drinks.
• 45 minutes of practice, 1-1 or group style, whatever you choose! Ollie will support, guide, answer questions and guide you.
• 10-15 minutes of showing how patterns can be combined to make more complex intermediate patterns such as the swan.
• 10-15 minutes of debrief and final Q&A as well as opportunities for pictures if you want to show off your latte art!
