Coffee & Conversation: Raising Kids in Today’s Culture
PEOTONE, IL — Parents and community members are invited to join Pastor Rick Selk for a relaxed evening of coffee and conversation on Wednesday, June 24, from 6:17 p.m. to 7:17 p.m. at Cornerstone Coffee House, 124 W. Main Street in downtown Peotone.
The discussion, titled “Coffee & Conversation: Raising Kids in Today’s Culture,” will explore the challenges and opportunities parents face while raising children in today's rapidly changing world. Participants will engage in an informal conversation about faith, culture, and parenting while enjoying complimentary coffee, iced tea, or lemonade.
Hosted by Christ Community Church, this event is intentionally designed to be welcoming and pressure-free.
“No lecture. No pressure. Just conversation,” said Pastor Rick Selk. “Whether you're a parent, grandparent, caregiver, or simply interested in discussing how faith intersects with our culture, we'd love to have you join us.”
The event coincides with Christ Community Church's Vacation Bible School, making it a convenient opportunity for parents to enjoy a meaningful discussion while their children participate in VBS activities.
The gathering is open to all adults, whether they attend church regularly or not. No registration is required.
