Come join us for cup of coffee and conversation at Café Ase before joining Curator Kimberly Jacobs for a 30-minute guided tour of Lavett Ballard’s vibrant art installation A Rose is a Rose is a Rose. Inspired by themes of growth, remembrance, and renewal, Ballard’s richly layered assemblages bloom with historic imagery and powerful representations of Black womanhood.

2:30pm – Tour starts on 2nd floor, Benedum Staircase Gallery
