About the Exhitbion:
The work is largely painted from an aerial view, using distance to observe the routines, rituals, and lived experiences that shape everyday life. Consideration is given to how ordinary moments accumulate over time and become patterns – both personal and shared.
The painting process involves building up layers of paint, then scraping and reworking areas of the surface. Some images and marks are buried, while others remain visible, creating a sense of time, memory, and history. Recurring motifs and seemingly unrelated spaces reflect the artist’s interest in the connections between environments and experiences.
By shifting perspective, the work explores how individual moments can exist within larger visual rhythms and how unexpected relationships can emerge between separate worlds.
