Want to play some doubles? You don’t see it as often on grass…so let’s change that. Grab a partner and come play some coed doubles. Let’s have some fun!
Please sign up as a pair with no TBDs.
If you have a net, and you’re willing to let us borrow it, please let us know!!

‼️We will continue to allow signups for each division, but we will be waitlisting teams if we cannot divide into even pools of 3, 4, or 5 teams. We will denote waitlisted teams (with a *) and then update the list if enough teams sign up to balance the pools.‼️
💰Cash prize for winners! (amount is based on level (and taking out field fees/expenses))

🌱Keep in mind these will be grass courts - so typical grass size - not the size of sand doubles.
FORMAT:
Pools of 3, 4, or 5 teams depending on turnout
Pool play:
* 3 team pools: Three sets to 21, cap 23
* 4/5 team pools: Two sets to 21, cap 23
Bracket:
* If enough teams (8+) we will split into an upper and lower bracket
* Bracket will be best of three to 21, no cap
RULES📋
(Mainly following Waupaca Boatride grass triples rules):
- No open hand tips.
- Double Contact: Players may double contact any first ball over (including serves) provided the ball is not held.
- Players may also double contact on the second hit if the ball stays on your side of the net. (Please call yourself if it’s ugly - especially in A)
- First contact: Taking with hands is allowed.
- Let Serves: Let serves are NOT legal. (a serve may NOT touch or skim the net - equivalent to missing a serve)
- Blocking: A block is not counted as a team hit.
- Setting Over: When the ball is set into the opponent's court, the setter's shoulders AND hips must be squared up (forwards or backwards) to the line of flight of the ball. The set over must be intentional.
- Time Outs: Each team is allowed two 30 second timeouts per game.
- Side Changes: Up to the teams to decide, however switching is suggested every 7 points

- All disagreements are replayed :)
