This EU CodeWeek, teachers from across Cyprus are invited to a very special hands-on workshop combining coding, STEM and space exploration.

You’ll discover educational activities from the European Space Agency, try Astro Pi Mission Zero, explore the International Space Station, experiment with Python, and work with detailed 3D LEGO models of real spacecraft such as the Hubble Space Telescope and Saturn V rocket.
Even better, some of these models will be available for schools to borrow — including resources that can help students with visual impairment explore spacecraft through touch.
📅 Saturday, 24 October 2026
📍 Ledra Palace Hotel, Nicosia
🕘 09:00–13:00
🎟️ Free participation
🌍 Workshop language: English
👩🏫 For primary and secondary school teachers
Since 2021, our EU CodeWeek activities have brought Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot teachers together to learn, collaborate and build meaningful professional connections.
This year, we’re taking that collaboration one step further.
In space, there are no borders — just one shared planet. 🌍✨
Places are limited, so register early.
Supported by Civic Space with EU funding and UNFICYP, and implemented by Mathisis and Masterkids.
