Coding micro:bits Workshop | Coding Club | St Helens

Join our Digital Arts Box Coding micro:bits workshop and dive into the world of coding by creating not one, but three exciting interactive games: Snap the Dot, Rock Paper Scissors, and Tug of War.

In this engaging workshop, your young person will learn how to code these engaging games and upload them to their very own micro:bit. Afterwards, they will have the opportunity to play and share their creations with peers. Don't miss this chance for your young innovator to develop valuable coding skills and unleash their creativity!

No prior experience is required for any activity, and all equipment will be provided by us. Our friendly tutors will be there to support you every step of the way.

Who can get involved?

This club is for young people aged 11-16 from St Helens.

When is this club?

This club is on Monday 16th September 2024, 4pm - 6pm.

Where will the workshop take place?

St Helens Library, The World of Glass, Chalon Way E, WA10 1BX****The car park at the venue allows you 10 minutes FREE parking ONLY for drop off and pick up. If you are going to stay longer, there is a charge payable at the venue.****

How much does it cost?

This project is funded by the LF Foundation for young people from St Helens from disadvantaged backgrounds. The fund is administered by The Community Foundation for Lancashire and Merseyside, therefore it is free to attend.

What equipment should I bring?

Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
