WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

Come to 1 class, 2, 3 or all 4 in this series. Register once, and you're registered for them all. You don't need to know how to code. You just need to show up.

The Coding Track is a free, four-session series that takes you from zero to running your own Python programs — using both block-based visual coding and AI tools to do it. No tech background required. No experience needed. Just curiosity and a device.

WHAT HAPPENS IN EACH SESSION

• Session 1 — How Computers Think: Discover the logic behind every program ever written — through visual block coding, without typing a single line of syntax. You'll run your first program and leave with a personalized Greeting Program you built yourself.
• Session 2 — Decisions, Repetition, Functions: Take your skills into real Python. You'll write actual .py files, run them in a terminal, and understand how professional code is structured. You'll leave with a working Python script you can run on any computer.
• Session 3 — You Are The Director: This is where AI changes everything. You'll learn how to prompt AI tools to generate Python code for you — and then read it, understand it, and run it. No more "I can't code." Just results.
• Session 4 — Make It Yours: Customize your AI-generated program, learn how to debug when things break, and showcase your finished work to the class in a live Lightning Showcase. You'll leave with an improved, working Python program that is entirely yours.

📅 Week 2: July 14 & 16 – (Sessions 3 & 4)
Each session runs from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Tandy Rec Center. Register once, and you are signed up for the full class series.
