About this Event
CodeX – The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics proudly announces the thirteenth annual FutureLaw conference, April 16, 2026, at Stanford University.
As AI systems evolve from tools into agents, the legal world faces profound questions about accountability, trust, and governance. FutureLaw 2026 will explore how computational law, authenticated delegation, and dynamic legal architectures can ensure that human values and the rule of law remain at the core of intelligent systems.
This year’s conference convenes global leaders from academia and practice across law, technology, and policy to chart the next frontier in legal informatics. We will examine how legal institutions, startups, and governments are designing frameworks to regulate, verify, and collaborate with increasingly autonomous AI.
From generative legal reasoning to agentic compliance and beyond, FutureLaw 2026 invites participants to rethink how legal processes, education, and practice must evolve in an age of intelligent infrastructure.
Join us as we design the principles, protocols, and technologies that will define the next decade of digital law.
At CodeX, our mission remains clear: to create legal technology that empowers to ensure that the future of law is not merely automated, but truly aligned.ture of law.
Dare to ask the difficult questions with us.
At CodeX, researchers and entrepreneurs design technologies for a better legal system; CodeX’s mission is to create legal technology that empowers all parties.
