About this Event
Development of a Machine Learning System for Plant Water Scheduling by Alex Cachia
Drastic changes in UK weather over recent years has led to inefficient, and often insufficient, irrigation schedules, meaning it is now crucial to determine optimum irrigation practices. An ML based solution was therefore developed to predict soil moisture levels using a combination of existing plant growth data, IoT technologies and weather data.
