Internationally acclaimed French-Malagasy pianist Mathis Picard performs at Second Story Co. in collaboration with The West Texas Jazz society for an exciting evening of solo piano music. Showcasing sounds from Harlem Stride and American Swing to European classical music, Picard will take us on a musical journey which also includes selections from his latest original work, “Preludes & Fugues: Book I,” a set of 12 compositions that reinterprets one of solo piano’s most beloved compositional formats.
Celebrated in “secret” at our exclusive speakeasy-themed event in downtown Midland, enjoy the fabulous Mathis Picard on the piano while you sip a cocktail and taste gourmet desserts.
