Melanie is an English professor and Jane Austen fanatic with a PhD in British Literature and a long running interest in interrogating what makes a book a "classic." Don't worry though, she's also a huge fan of fantasy, romance, and of course, romantasy, and is equally excited to swap literary gossip, swoon over a morally gray lead, or break down Austen's use of free indirect discourse.
