(S.I.S.) Sisters in Smoke Association is a sorority of women in the fire service, built on mentorship, empowerment and professional development. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive space where women can train, grow and excel in firefighting. Through our recruitment efforts and Big Sister Program, we guide and inspire the next generation of female firefighters, ensuring they have the resources, confidence and camaraderie needed to succeed. By fostering resilience, leadership and inclusion, we are igniting change and strengthening the presence of women in the fire service
