We have decided to kick off a Cocktail Lab Series in the Cellars. The idea is to offer a series of labs that allow you to participate in the process of making iconic drinks based on the original recipes, but adding a twist by using different spirits and experimenting with unique and fun ways of creating them, and maybe even inventing your own!
We are going to kick the series off with the world’s most iconic drink: the Old Fashioned. Simple, timeless, and endlessly adaptable—this cocktail is the perfect canvas for both tradition and experimentation.
In this interactive class, you will do more than just sip—you’ll mix your own Old Fashioneds using our curated premixes. You can add your own twists on them by adding more of the specific ingredients. This is designed to be a learning process about the art of balance while discovering how different spirits transform this classic.
What You’ll Taste & Create:
1. The Classic – Bourbon-based, with just the right touch of bitters and sugar.
2. The Agricole Rum Twist – Funky, grassy, and tropical, highlighting rum’s terroir.
3. The Barrel-Aged Gin Old Fashioned – Bright botanicals meet subtle oak aging.
4. The Peated Scotch Old Fashioned – Smoky, bold, and adventurous.
The Lab Experience
Taste four distinct versions of the Old Fashioned.
Mix and garnish your own cocktails using our premixed base (easy + interactive).
Learn the why behind each spirit choice and flavor balance.
Tasting the spirit prior to mixing enhances the end result.
During eachround, you can experiment with adding more bitters and garnishes to create your own signature Old Fashioned.
Your $50 ticket Includes all tastings, hands-on mixing, and a light bite. Tickets are limited and there will be no refunds due to limited space.
