Cocktail Classs: Brunch

A brunch-themed cocktail class that goes beyond the usual mimosa & Bloody Mary lineup—this experience is all about bold, modern classics and brunch-ready indulgence. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to craft a curated menu of vibrant, citrus-forward and richly textured cocktails..

Menu (subject to change due to product availability): Hugo (Sparkling Wine, Elderflower, Mint). Breakfast Martini (gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, orange marmalade), Venetian Coffee (coffee, rye whiskey, Amaro Montenegro, cream, ground cardamom), Coffee Cocktail (Ruby Port, Cognac, egg, nutmeg), The Squeeze (vodka, blood orange juice, St Germain, Peychaud’s bitters, sparkling wine). Your booking will also come with mini scones, and we will have nuts and pretzels available upon request. This format is a little different than our usual quarter-sized cocktail class. Instead you will be mixing up (4) half-sized cocktails over 4 rounds which will allow for a more relaxed and socialized environment, perfect for catching up with your pals!

The Last Word is closed during the class, so no food service is available. The class includes a combination of history and stories, technique instruction, and hands-on making of cocktails. Plus sampling, of course! Total consumption is equivalent to around 3 cocktails per person over the 2 hour class. Please anticipate working with other groups, sharing ingredients, and doing a mix of sitting or standing throughout the class.

Please note that we have a restricted table layout and use communal seating. Parties of two will almost always be seated with at least one other party of two. Groups of four or more will usually have their own table. You may request a private table in the “seat with” section of the booking form, and we will attempt to honor your request, but there is no guarantee that one will be available. If you have allergies or need a mocktail menu instead please also let me know in the “seat with” section so I get the message early enough to make accommodations .
