Join Laura and John Easterling as they take you on an adventure into natural dyes. This will be a very basic introduction to the natural dye cochineal.
This will be a dye bath for protein fibers (wool, alpaca, yak, silk, etc). You can bring your own skeins of yarn to dye, or can purchase them in the shop. The class cost includes dyeing at least 2 skeins of yarn. Every dye bath is unique and it may be possible to dye more skeins before the dye bath is exhausted. Because of the high cost of cochineal, it won't be possible to do a second bath.
First come first served. Meaning that the first person to sign up will be the first to dye their yarn and we will proceed down to the last person that signed up.
