We’re Getting Married! ❤️My name is Benjamin Cobine, and on May 3rd, I’ll be marrying the love of my life, Kara Wardein, at Christway Church in Godfrey in front of our family, friends, and church family.
This won’t be your traditional wedding with bridesmaids, groomsmen, or walking down the aisle in a big procession. We’re doing this our way / Christway—simple, meaningful, and true to who we are.
The regular church service begins at 10:00 AM, and we’d love for you to come hear our wonderful pastor, Steven Pace. The service usually lasts about 40 minutes, and right afterward Kara and I will take the stage to say our vows in front of God, our church, our family, and our friends.
Faith has brought us together and continues to shape a strong, loving, supportive partnership. Many of you know my story—and Kara has fought her own battles as well—but here we are, thriving, blessed, and living life with love at the center of it all.
Christway is extremely casual, so wear whatever makes you comfortable—jeans, shorts, dress clothes, anything goes. We also have an A+ daycare for the kids, with age-group rooms, or they’re more than welcome to sit in the service with you.
I’m looking forward to sharing this day with so many of you who have supported me over the years. I’ve finally made it, man. Life is great—and this is a moment I can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
