Thirst No More Corporation's RAP Outreach have the honor of collaborating with STARS and BKind to host a winter coat drive for low income and homeless individuals in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
STARS
STARS is a vibrant, Christian homeschool cooperative that facilitates PreK-12 grade classes, educational field trips, meaningful service projects, and beautiful community connections for Maryland families. Using Philippians 2:14–15 as their purpose scripture, STARS has made it their mission to "shine as lights in the world" by providing quality education, sharing Christ, making disciples, and ministering to the felt needs of others.
BKind
BKind is a non-profit organization that serves the homeless and less fortunate population in Maryland. They partner with local county resources as well as faith-based and secular organizations to provide food, hygiene products, blankets, coats, and other necessities to help the individuals we serve each week. They also seek to connect individuals to available local resources in an effort to get them the help they need, and break the cycles of homelessness and poverty one individual and family at a time.
RAP
Since 2011, Thirst No More Corporation has worked to improve the lives of individuals and families facing hardship in Baltimore, Maryland. Although the organization has developed partnerships and humanitarian initiatives across Africa, Asia, Central America, and the United States, Baltimore has remained an important part of its history and mission. Thirst No More Corporation's RAP work in Baltimore has been shaped by a simple conviction: meaningful community development begins by recognizing the dignity, potential, and immediate needs of every person. Over the years, the organization has provided practical assistance, encouraged community participation, and supported outreach efforts intended to help people experiencing poverty, homelessness, housing insecurity, unemployment, and other difficult circumstances.
We are excited to announce a wonderful partnership between all three entities to provide winter coats to our community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Using the name "Coats for a Cause," these organizations are focused on assuring our lower income residents are provided and cared for. This event takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 starting at 9:45am - 12 noon. We are happy to announce that @alclivemd Abundant Life Church will be the site for this exchange with our residents in the county. They are located at: 7305 E. Furnace Branch Rd., Glen Burnie, Maryland 21060.
