Winters in Iowa can be downright cold. Everyone deserves to have a proper coat to face the elements, and we'd like to help. If you are a Burlington resident in need of a winter coat, please plan to join us at this event to see if we have something for you.
This spring we collected hundreds of winter coats. We will have a final coat collection drive September 1-15. Our army of volunteers will wash, inspect, repair, and sort everything to have it ready for distribution on October 11.
There are no requirements. If you need a coat, you can have one. We may ask you to fill out a quick form, but only because collection of certain data helps when we apply for future grant funding. It will not be required.
