Coastal Cleanup Day at Dockweiler Beach
About this Event
Help protect our coastline while making a positive impact on the environment during this fun, family-friendly volunteer event. In addition to the beach cleanup, enjoy interactive activities designed to inspire environmental stewardship, including:
- Can the Trash! booth
- Arts and crafts station
- Traveling tidepool experience
Whether you're coming with family, friends, or volunteering on your own, this is a great opportunity to give back to your community and help create a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Beach Cleanup Information
Interested in participating in the cleanup? Please review the following:
- The beach cleanup will take place Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- A is required for every volunteer.
- Children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
- Volunteers under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Gloves, buckets, and trash pickers will be provided while supplies last. To help reduce waste, we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable cleanup supplies if available.
- Please come prepared with a hat, sunscreen, comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, water, and a refillable water bottle.

To help reduce traffic and our environmental impact, we encourage attendees to carpool, use rideshare services, bike, or take public transportation whenever possible.
