Coachella Valley Symphony's “A Symphonic Odyssey”

The final two concerts of the 2024-25 season are part of the Coachella Valley Symphony’s strategic partnership with the City of Rancho Mirage. Two of the Valley’s top venues, the McCallum Theater and the Rancho Mirage Amphitheater at Rancho Mirage Community Park will be the location for these vibrant and incredible concerts and are available to everyone in the community, FREE of charge, courtesy of the City of Rancho Mirage.

Our second concert of the season is spaced themed concert celebrating the Rancho Mirage Observatory on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 5:30PM at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheater. This will be a “Close Encounter of the Symphonic Kind.” Watch for an “Out of this World Experience.”

“We are thrilled to be back at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheater and the music is epic in its scope. Composers get so inspired by space when they are writing music about the cosmos; the imagination expands beyond human’s current capacity. Our program covers quite a few years of Film and TV scores, and will uplift audiences beyond our galaxy. It will truly be an “Out of this World Experience” and is in celebration of the Rancho Mirage Observatory,” said John Mario, Music Director and Conductor, Coachella Valley Symphony.

The mission of the Coachella Valley Symphony is to perpetuate live symphony music and to provide public performance venues for both accomplished youth and adult musicians, to provide symphonic music education to young emerging musicians and to support diversity among individuals and within music presentations.
