The Museum of Pell City is thrilled to announce the opening of our new exhibit, COACH, on Saturday, March 29th at 11:00 PM. This exciting exhibit features Coach Will Glover, Pell City’s winningest coach of all time, along with Coach Pete Rich, the architect of building character. These beloved coaches are credited with molding boys into young men, teaching them the values of character, teamwork, and leadership.Exhibit Highlights
• An oral history short film from Coach Pete Rich and his brother Lamont Rich, offering a personal glimpse into their lives and Coach Rich’s impactful career.
• Artifacts and photos from Coach Rich and Coach Glover’s years on the field, showcasing their journey and achievements.
Join us as we open the exhibit on the momentous occasion of Coach Pete Rich’s 90th Birthday. This exhibit is a tribute to their legacy and an inspiration to all who value the principles they instilled in their players.
We look forward to celebrating this special event with you and honoring the extraordinary contributions of Coach Will Glover and Coach Pete Rich to our community.
