About this Event
Cooperatives have long been a part of providing more equitable access and increased stability in our state. Cooperatives are often a more resilient business model, managing risk and reward for its members. Hear stories of cooperatives throughout Minnesota’s history that show us cooperatives’ resiliency in hard times. Then, through facilitated conversations with cooperators in the room, identify how your cooperative (or a cooperative you support) is already resilient and can put into place more support for long term sustainability.
As a group, we'll explore how principle 6 "Cooperation Among Cooperations" can help us strengthen resilience across the broader cooperative ecosystem.
This gathering is designed for those who want to:
- Network across cooperative sectors (credit unions, food co-ops, housing co-ops, worker co-ops, energy co-ops, co-op support organizations, and more)
- Gain inspiration and fortitude to continue cooperative operations
- Learn about solutions for long-term cooperative sustainability
- Generate content and connections for their own organizations
The event format will include open mingling, presentations from local co-ops, and facilitated networking. We hope you can join us!
