This workshop is about...
Scholars are agents of change. As members of the K-State academic community, the scholarship we engage with are situated within local and global communities facing complex problems. Community-engaged scholarship offers a unique opportunity to live out the civic mission of our institution by generating knowledge and talent that advance the common good. In this session, participants will explore how leadership emerges through authentic collaboration with community partners. Participants will practice co-creative approaches to research and project design that value shared knowledge generation and mutual benefit. This workshop is ideal for graduate students interested in community-based research or seeking to deepen their understanding of ethical, participatory leadership.
