Please join us for a joint meeting of CNY Solidarity Coalition and Indivisible Onondaga County.
Join us for a presentation about data center in NYS by Jennifer Stromer-Galley, a Professor in the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. Data centers are essential to the growth of the burgeoning AI industry. But data centers come with controversy. This talk will give an overview of data centers—what role they play in the AI industry, current and proposed data center initiatives in New York, and the current state of public policy in CNY.
The second hour will feature meetings of our working groups to plan protests, contact our representatives, and plan actions.
